Whether you’re looking to participate in events, offer support in outreach initiatives, or assist in the day-to-day operations of our centre, there is a role for everyone.

Volunteering with us is a great way to make a positive impact on local LGBTQ+ people in Leicester and Leicestershire and there are lots of different ways to get involved.

To get started, please fill in our Volunteer Induction Form. A member of our team will reach out to you to discuss opportunities, answer any questions you may have, and guide you through the onboarding process.

Jade’s Story

Jade first joined Leicestershire LGBTQ+ Centre as a member of Quest: Dungeons and Dragons...

“Over time, I realised that I had developed a strong passion for the work that the LGBTQ+ centre does; witnessing members form friendships, feel included and valued, fostered the drive to volunteer myself and give new members the same kind of welcome I had received.

Volunteering is the highlight of my week, I love what I do and the positive impact it has on people. I hope to keep working with the LGBTQ+ Centre for many years to come.”
